Vinyl Wrap Care & Maintenance
Yes. Our premium wraps are designed to be removed cleanly within the material's warrantied lifespan. In most cases, the original paint underneath will remain in the exact same condition it was in on the day of installation.
Depending on the finish (Gloss, Matte, or Chrome) and environmental exposure, a high-quality wrap typically lasts between 3 to 5 years. Regular maintenance and avoiding automated car washes with harsh brushes will significantly extend this lifespan.
Hand washing is the gold standard for vinyl. Use a pH-neutral automotive shampoo and a soft microfiber wash mitt. For matte or satin finishes, specifically avoid waxes or polishes, as they can create unwanted "shiny" patches on the film.
Wraps are best applied to factory paint in good condition. While a wrap can hide color fading, it will not hide deep scratches, stone chips, or peeling clear coats—in fact, vinyl often highlights surface imperfections rather than masking them.
Legal requirements vary by region. In many jurisdictions, a significant color change must be updated on your vehicle's registration certificate (RC). Our team can provide the necessary documentation to assist you with this process.
